UK nurses are at the forefront of menopause care. In primary and secondary care, nurses support and treat women, offering lifestyle and complementary strategies as well as prescribing and monitoring therapeutic options.

An educational initiative for nurses by nurses

The 2-day menopause course is aimed at nurses who regularly see and advise women about menopause issues. Ideal for primary care nurses, others such as sexual health nurses, gynae nurses and those working in breast or oncology my find it useful. it will equip you to confidently advise and treat women.

Two days means it is sufficiently in depth that topics will be covered adequately and discussions will be highly clinically relevant. A mix of lectures and group work led by expert menopause nurses, makes this course fun and informative

This course is not basic and covers HRT in some depth. If you have no prior experience of menopause practice , you may find it not quite what you are looking for.
